Peroni & Parise Frame

The brief was one word, and it was the right one

Most anniversary films are about the company. Twenty years of excellence, a heritage montage, a founder walking slowly through a workshop while a piano decides how you should feel.

This one is called Welcome to Peroni & Parise, and it means it literally.

Twenty years, and the thing that did not move

Peroni & Parise make jewellery in Dueville, in the goldsmithing district outside Vicenza, and 2026 is their twentieth year.

Valeria and Lorenzo own it together. They are married, which changes what a company is in ways nobody writes into a business plan: two decades of the same conversation carried from the workshop to the kitchen table and back again. Lorenzo is the designer, the one whose visions get turned into objects. Valeria is the one who has spent twenty years turning them.

The world has changed enormously in twenty years. What has not changed is the love for the work, the passion for the profession, and the amount of care that goes into a detail nobody will ever inspect closely.

That is a very simple thing to say and a genuinely difficult thing to make believable on camera, because every company on earth claims it. But in twenty years they built something solid, and not only for their customers. For everyone who works and collaborates with them too.

Read that again with a jeweller's eye. A luxury brand's anniversary film, and the founders spend their best thirty seconds thanking their staff and their suppliers rather than describing their stones. Then they close by welcoming you into their company, which after all that is not a figure of speech.

How it was made, which is less than you think

One shooting day. An interview setup, then b-roll of the spaces and the jewellery. A sound assistant for four hours because a founder's voice in a workshop is the one thing you cannot fix later. Then edit, grade, audio master, subtitles in Italian and English, delivered in UHD.

That is the entire production.

The budget went where budgets should go on a film like this: into having enough time in the room that two people who are not actors stopped performing, and into an audio chain good enough that when they said the word love about their own work, it did not sound like a script.

Why we like this one

We do a lot of work built on spectacle. Moon beaches, meteors, videomapping buildings. We like that work and we are good at it.

This was the opposite assignment. Two people, one room, one camera, and a claim that had to be true or the whole thing collapses.

Twenty years is not a long time in Vicenza goldsmithing. It is long enough, though, to find out whether you still like the work. They do, and it is visible, and the only real job we had was not to get in the way of it.

FAQ

Since 2023. The anniversary film follows an ongoing series of portraits of the people inside the company and of the craft itself, including a close-quarters film on stone setting and one on responsible sourcing.

Can Onymous Studios make a corporate film for our company?

Yes, including the small and quiet kind. Sometimes one room and two people who mean it is the correct answer. Contact studios@onymous.it.
